Why we fails miserably
I am fed up with seeing so many people comparing the qualifications of our Ministers with that of Singapore and even then with inaccurate information and taking the lesser qualified among our Ministers. For example this Blogger under the title "Sketches of Life" blames Malaysia for failing "miserably" because of poorly qualified Cabinet Ministers. In doing so he even omitted the better qualified ones. If Singapore has Ministers with Masters degrees we have also several with PhDs. Why does he not use them as comparison.
To avoid being misled by such comparisons by people who already have biased minds, I suggest the official list of our Ministers produced by Putrajaya should also contain our Ministers' qualifications and the Universities they qualify from. Although the quality of one's intellectual capacity and leadership does not depend on the paper qualification the he or she possesses, I still feel that since this matter is of such an important consideration nowadays, there is nothing wrong telling the truth to the public. After all even if one did not go through a tertiary education but managed to do well in life and gains the respect of the majority, that in itself is a great achievement.
